CAFEC ABACA Cone Paper Filters

CAFEC ABACA Cone Paper Filters are made from approximately 80% Manila hemp blended pulp, combining brewing performance with an environmentally conscious design. Manila hemp has a relatively short growing cycle and is known for its resistance to harsh weather and insect damage. It can be cultivated in large quantities without heavy reliance on chemical fertilizers or pesticides, making it a more sustainable alternative to wood-based materials and helping to reduce pressure on forest resources.

With its fine yet strong and flexible fibres, Manila hemp gives the filter paper excellent breathability and structural strength. During brewing, the paper holds its shape well and resists deformation even under continuous pouring, helping to maintain a stable and smooth water flow throughout extraction. Its structure also supports a faster flow rate while allowing some of the coffee oils to be retained, contributing to a fuller and more layered cup profile.
