Processing:
Ripe cherries were hand-picked and dried on raised African beds at the Kebena Estate processing station. During drying, cherries were regularly turned and hand sorted to ensure consistency and cleanliness.
After milling and export preparation, the coffee was decaffeinated in Bremen, Germany by Coffein Compagnie using the E.A Sugarcane Process, preserving sweetness, body and flavour complexity while reducing caffeine content.
